I'm tired, had to work over, got the flu, knees hurt, woke up late, no energy, work meetings, gym crowded, but it's my day off, holidays, company came over, too irritated, ate too much, feet are swollen, need new shoes, ran out of bath towels, forgot my lock, favorite machine down, couldn't watch the game, forgot my ipod, ate lunch instead, twisted my ankle, forgot my workout plan, trainer was sick, lost my workout gloves, locker room closed, ate too many cookies, feel nauseous, forgot my water bottle, my friend couldn't come, went shopping instead, feel too bloated, too many skinny girls, no good magazines, staff is crabby, it's that time, bad hair day, workout clothes need washed, american idol is on, I may be pregnant, the dogs need walked, I didn't get enough sleep, the weather is too cold, I forgot my umbrella, and...and...and...
I'd like to feature SS this week. He is one of the most dedicated people I know, true to his trade.
As a matter of fact, before my official 'program with the trainers' started, I worked out with him
for 3 days. I told him I had a kickboxing background so we did some punching and kicking drills. How
exciting that was, even after 12 years, it all came tumbling back. I loved it! I'm so proud of SS, he's a martial artist himself. And a great one at that. When he trains here at the club, he trains HARD. He's competed in the NASKA and NBL tournaments to name a couple, and was just rated #1 in his division and came home a true
world champion!!! Congratulations SS on all of your accomplishments!!!want more?
...well I was really scared for this weigh-in because it didn't feel like I reached my potential. The good news is I lost 3 lbs. and .75 inch in the chest, gained an inch in the waist (boooo) and stayed the same in the hips. My BMI and BF went down which is good, BUT, I needed to go up 3 lbs in my lean weight mass and that didn't happen. Which means I need to work harder on the lifting part of my routine and stick with it this time.
So, after four months I lost 16.5 pounds
chest: 3 inches
waist: 2.25 inches
hips: 3 inches
thigh: 2.25 inches
bicep: 2.25 inches
I'm happy but I would have loved to hit that 20 pound mark. Almost made it. I won't give up. I know I'm healthier, I feel great and I'm starting to look better that what I did. I have a long way to go, but I'm still excited.
I've realized tho, that it's the Personal Trainers who keep it altogether for you. If I had continued training with them, I know the results would have been better. I simply am easier on myself. Cheers~here's to my workout tomorrow!
